Service Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and flexible:
- Cancellation before appointment: If you need to cancel your booking for any reason before your scheduled appointment time, you will receive a full refund.
- No-show: If you fail to be present at the scheduled time and location without prior notice (a "no-show"), you will be charged the full service amount. This covers our technician's time and travel costs.

Service Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not completely satisfied with the results of your carpet cleaning service:
- Free re-clean: Contact us within 48 hours of your service, and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge.
- Assessment: Our technician will assess the original work and perform any necessary additional cleaning to meet your expectations.
Please note that once a cleaning service has been performed, we do not offer cash refunds. Our commitment is to ensure you are satisfied with the results through our re-clean guarantee.
Conditions for Re-Clean
- Request must be made within 48 hours of the original service
- The carpet must not have been treated with other cleaning products or services since our visit
- The issue must relate to the quality of our cleaning work
- We cannot guarantee removal of all stains, particularly those that are old, set-in, or caused by certain substances (e.g., bleach, dye, permanent ink)
Product Returns Policy
For any cleaning products purchased through our website or from our technicians:
Standard Returns (Change of Mind)
- You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return products for a full refund
- Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item
Faulty or Damaged Products
- If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact us within 30 days of delivery
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including any return shipping costs
- Please provide photos of the damage or fault to help us process your claim quickly
How to Return a Product
- Contact us at support@samedaycarpetcleaners.co.uk with your order number and reason for return
- We will provide you with return instructions and address
- Package the item securely in its original packaging
- Ship the item using a tracked delivery service
- Once received and inspected, we will process your refund
Refund Processing
All refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Card payments: Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank
- PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days
- Bank transfer: Refunds will be processed within 5 business days
Exceptions
This policy does not apply to:
- Services where damage to carpets or property was pre-existing and documented before cleaning
- Stains that were disclosed as potentially permanent before service began
- Products that have been opened, used, or are not in their original condition
- Gift cards or promotional vouchers
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If our services do not meet the standards of reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to additional remedies under UK consumer law.
